Ashley Johnson


Ashley has been a Dance Educator and Choreographer for 12 years. She began her dance journey as an officer on her high school dance team. After graduation, she joined Crowd Pleasers Dance Staff and served as a Senior Staff member for 7 years. She attended McNeese State University where she danced on scholarship with the Cowgirl Kicker Dance Team. 

During this time, she expanded her studio career as a lead instructor and choreographer with Contempo Dance Center, Cathy Kurth Dance Academy and Lake Area Ballet Theatre. After graduating from college, she was the Director and Choreographer of the Semi-Pro Louisiana First Mate Cheerleaders. Later, she returned to Houston to dance professionally with WYLDSTYL Dance Crew where they gained the title of Word of Dance Champions in 2014. In 2017 she competed internationally with WYLDSTYL at Dancers Paradise; taking 5th Place amongst dancers from all over the world.


She has served as a Head Director for Public High School Teams for 6 years, receiving multiple awards and accomplishments for Instruction and Choreography. She continues to Teach, Judge and Choreograph across Texas and Louisiana; serving Studio and Public teams. She focuses on style and dynamics, technical breakdown and a healthy practice.
