Colette R. Kerwick grew up in Santa Fe New Mexico where she trained with the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Company and Moving People Dance Theater. Colette attended New Mexico State University where she completed her Bachelors Degree of Arts in dance. During her undergraduate studies, Colette’s choreography was selected twice for adjudication at the American College Dance Association and as an alternate for the National conference at the Lincoln Center in Washington D.C.in 2016. Colette is currently in her third season dancing professionally with NobleMotion Dance where she is also the co-director of NobleMotion’s second company, NMD2. Additionally, Colette is a third year graduate student working towards her MFA in dance at Sam Houston State University. During her time at SHSU Colette has performed works by, Mike Esparenza, Andy Noble, Dionne Noble, Dana Nicolay, Joshua Manculich and Jennifer Ponius. Colette also serves as president for the graduate students organization, Masters of
Dance. Colette has attended the American Dance Festival where she worked with artists, T. Lang, Rodger Bellmen and Venessa Voskil. José Limon Dance Intensive, Lux Boreal where she was selected for their duet untitled. Dance Italia where she performed repertory by NobleMotion Dance, Ohad Naharin, and Kidd Pivot. Dance Gallery Festival New York where she performed works for NobleMotion Dance in 2017 and for Joshua Manculich, Jared Doster and Victoria DeRenzo in 2018. In addition Colette is also a certified Pilates instructor through Balanced Body.
